AUTHORITY
POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN CULINARY ARTS is a One Year Full Time course being offered under the Faculty of Technology, Osmania University, Hyderabad. The duration of the course is one academic year consisting of two semesters of minimum 16 weeks of instruction per semester.
ELIGIBILITY
A candidate for admission to the One Year Post Graduate Diploma Course in Culinary Arts must have passed the Bachelor in Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Bachelor of Business Management / Bachelor of Business Administration in Hotel / Hospitality (with a minimum of two years of Food Production instruction), Graduates in Hospitality Management, Bachelor of Business Administration (Hotel, Hospitality and Tourism streams) with at least two years of instruction in food production, B.Sc. Hotel Management, B.A. in Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts Graduates from any recognized University.
- Candidates who have appeared for their final exams in the respective streams can aslo apply. However the admission is subject to clearing the qualifying examination.
- Non Resident Indians (NRI) / Foriegn students should submit their relevant documents while applying for the course.The entire process of admission will be handled by the Dean Foreign Affairs,Osmania University.
ENROLLMENT / SELECTION / ADMISSION
- An admission process will generally start in the month of April / May each academic year for which notification will be released in leading national dailies of the country as well on the internet. The college website is updated from time to time and all the details will be made available to the aspiring candidates.
- Application Form can be availed from the academy’s Administration Office on payment of RS. 500/- in cash or Demand Draft drawn in favour of Paragon Educational Society, payable at Hyderabad Candidates fulfilling the entry criteria and who have applied by filling the application form with photocopies of all relevant certificates will be called for the selection process. (Date will be intimated as and when finalized).
- Thirty candidates will be enrolled in the month of June based on their performance in the overall selection process which includes an All India Entrance Examination which will be held only in HYDERABAD followed by a Group Discussion Round, Personal Interview and a Trade Test. (3 course Continental menu comprising of a starter, soup and main course).
- If selected, the candidates will have to enrol themselves in the month of June by paying full-prescribed fee and submitting all the relevant original certificates.
- Candidate should submit a physical fitness certificate by a registered medical practitioner in the enclosed format.

Advanced Baking and International Confectionery, Kitchen Operations and Management, Global Cuisine Trends, Food Production Facility Planning and Design.
Practical:
Advanced Culinary Sculptures, Pastry and Confectionery Centre Pieces, Bulk Food Plating (Table D’hote), Futuristic Foods.
