PTE Academic is a relatively new, international academic English Language Test, which is completely computer-based. It will measure you in the departments of Reading, Speaking, Listening and Writing skills. You will be marked on a scale from 10-90. Students from the countries, which do not have English as their native language need to take this test to establish their proficiency in English. Pretty much like IELTS and TOEFL. The test is endorsed by Graduate Management Admission Council; the same council that endorses GMAT.
