The institute conducts UGEE for Dual Degree admissions, PGEE for MTech, MS, and PhD admissions.

IIIT Hyderabad also offers lateral entry admissions to students through LEEE examination.

In the recent placement drive of 2022, the institute recorded 100% placements for its B.Tech batch. The highest package offered was INR 74 LPA, while the lowest package was INR 5 LPA.
